Return and Exchange policy
Please note we are a privately owned family run company and have been trading for over 30 years earning an excelent reputation, in our experience virtually all problems and issues can be resolved by a simple phone call.
If you receive a damaged item from us it must be reported to us within 48hrs of receipt of the goods. In this event we would offer to send a direct replacement, allow a reselection or collect the goods and issue a full refund.
If you have received the goods and for any reason you no longer require them, you must contact us within 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods.
The goods must be returned to us within 14 calendar days of your notification
The goods must be unused, unopened and in their original packaging
Bed frames must not have been assembled and must be fully packaged as they arrived.
All goods must be 100% resalable as new and unused.
Any item returned to us that is not salable as new unopened and unused will either not be refunded or will only recieve a partial refund.
All goods are returned by the customer personally or the customers own courier and at the customers own cost. In the event the customer needs assistance returning the goods any costs accumulated by Canterbury beds would be agreed with the customer before execution and deducted from the eventual refund. Any goods returned damaged will result in denial or heavy reduction of refund, it is reasonable for us to expect the goods back in the same condition as our customers would expect to receive them.
What you cannot return
We cannot accept returns on the following if there is any evidence of them being opened, this is for reasons of hygiene.
Any opened pillows, pillow protectors or mattress protectors
Any mattress that has been opened (please try the mattress in the bag)
Any item that has been specifically custom made for a specific customer, this would include all non UK standard sizes of mattress, bed base , bedstead or headboard. This would also include dual tension beds and mattresses.
